ENDLESS CHATTER

What deadens us most to God's presence within us, is the inner dialogue that we are continuously engaged within ourselves. The endless chatter of human thought. I suspect there is nothing more crucial than being able from time to time to stop that chatter, keep silent, listen and hear the soft spoken word of God.
